Do it right the first time

Our approach is not fancy. We show up when we say we will, we prep the base like the whole job depends on it, and we pour concrete built for Michigan ground. Most trouble with a slab starts below the surface, so that is where we spend our time. Get the base and the drainage right, and the finish takes care of itself. Cut corners down there, and no amount of smooth troweling on top will save the slab once the frost gets into it.

We keep the crew small and the work close to home. The same people who give you the estimate are the ones who pour your slab and clean up the site. Nothing gets handed off to a stranger you never met. If you have a question in the middle of the job, you ask the person running it, and you get a real answer that day. That is how a job stays on track and how you stay in the loop from the first visit to the final walk.

We also keep it honest. If a repair will hold, we will tell you, even when a full pour would earn us more. If your ground needs extra base work, we will say so before we start, not as a surprise once the forms are set. We put the plan in plain words and let the work speak for itself. That is how we have kept our name good around Ann Arbor, and it is the only way we know how to run a crew.

We are not a crew that blows into town for a season and leaves. We live here, our kids go to school here, and our trucks are parked here all year.
